Built in 1949. Constructed of marine ply with fore, aft and side decks, lifting keel (6mm galvanised steel), lifting rudder, optional bowsprit (needs fixings).

A professionally constructed 1949 lifting keel wooden daysailer in high quality marine ply, endorsed by the late John Leather. Design loosely based on a "Sharpie" racing yacht.
MECHANICAL
Yamaha 4hp outboard motor with remote fuel tank.

Silva 33 compass, Seafarer 501 echo sounder, hand held VHF radio.
SAFETY
Manual bilge pump, 12v electric pump with float switch, horseshoe lifebuoy.
DECK GEAR
Pair of taylor made oars & rowlocks, mooring warps and fenders, canvas boom cover, many bronze fittings by Frake of Classic Marine, mahogany floor, Danforth anchor.
SAILS
Good quality wooden mast with stainless steel standing rigging. Conventional mainsail and jib by Quay Sails in Classic Cream. Sails very little used and home stored. Storm jib (Jeckells - fair).

REMARKS
"Sally Ann" was built in 1949 and sailed on the NE coast and later the Thames Estuary. The ply for her hull is believed to be the remnant from a WW2 Mosquito build. Her hull was taken back to bare wood 4 years ago and repainted in blue. Her owner would consider taking a rowing dinghy in part exchange.
